paul westerberg

ex  'Mats dude has done the music for a film/cartoon.
i must admit i was a bit skeptikal, has he sold out to da man?,in a henry rollins kinda way.

glad to say it is one of his strongest albums since da 'Mats.

and as further proof,da guys at Sony(for it is them)got him to play at a premiere.
he managed to get his long time partner in crime ,tommy stinson,to come along for the show.they played a couple from da film.
last song was an old 'Mats song....I.O.U Nothing.

i would like to think it was a big raise of da middle finger to Sony.

ie ,he does the music, but on his terms.

talk of even puttin one of the tracks up for an Oscar.

maybe dat would be too much.i am a bit of (i mean total)music snob.
i dont want the general public findin outta about the dude.

so many folk rip him off(eg ryan fuckin adams),without acknowledging it.
pretty cool if the guy has copped a break for once.

gives the rest of us losers a wee bit of hope.

My brother's wife's sister (got that) almost slept with PW once... got sick in his hotel room, rinsed her mouth out, went back to sucking face with him, he gets a phone call from his girlfriend he's like yes I love you you're the only one bye bye honeykins, hangs up, they go back to suckin' face--don't know why she didn't sleep with him, maybe he passed out... Hi Sodajerk!

I don't know about you, Sodajerk, but satisfied, I'm not. What is it about life? I'm unsatisfied. UNSATISFIED! Keep on blogging, pal.

what a charmer.

i will pass that on to my brothers mate Bill.he is the only other big time 'mats fan across here, that i have met anyway.
he is almost in denial that i was lucky enough to catch the band when they played Glasgow in 1991.even had a wee chat with tommy.
they are both shorter than you would think, but skinny so they dont look short(if u see what i mean).

actually Unsatisfied is one of my top 4 or 5 replacements songs.
the others vary depending on my mude.
"here comes a regular" is pretty much a constant also.
